A new Performance Standard

This harmonica allows you to play 48 different chords and is the perfect accompanying instrument for all harmonica ensembles and orchestras. With 384 reeds, all major, minor, 7th, diminished and augmented chords are available in 4-part octave voicings. All the lower-pitched reeds are located on the inner rows of the instrument, ensuring that high and low ranges are equidistant from one another and thus enabling balanced miking. The Chord 48 is the only accompaniment harmonica where each chord is located on its own individual reed plate, permitting personalized chordal layout as well as simplifying cleaning and maintenance. A high-end instrument designed with the professional in mind, it combines ease of playing with the finest HOHNER quality to deliver a new performance standard - a milestone in HOHNER's legendary Orchestra Series.
